Forging Links Forging Links was a 12 month project where artist Katie Shipley worked with young people and local residents in West Bromwich to uncover stories about the local metal bashing industry. The young people were introduced to their own history through tours of the archives and factories, hands on metal bashing workshops and interviwing people who have worked in the industry. The project resulted in an exhibition at Haden Hill House Museum. Forging Links website
